The right to raise funds

The Foundation pursues its objectives, among others, by raising funds for statutory activity from natural and legal persons in Poland and abroad.

Sources of funds

The Statute lists donations, inheritances, bequests and grants, subsidies, EU funds, as well as income from promotional campaigns, collections and public events.

§9(1)

Allocation

The Foundation’s income is allocated to the statutory objectives and to covering the necessary costs of its activity. The Statute provides for no other allocation.

§12

The donor’s will

Funds from donations, subsidies, inheritances and bequests may be used for all objectives of the Foundation — unless the donor has decided otherwise. The payment reference is precisely such a decision.

Other forms of support

• In-kind donations — equipment, licences, services; accepted under a deed of donation with valuation.
• Inheritances and bequests — accepted solely with the benefit of inventory (§9(3)).
• Grants, subsidies and contributions — domestic, EU and foreign, under a grant agreement.
• Sponsorship and paid statutory activity — a reciprocal service, documented by invoice, not by a note.

What the note contains

• the Foundation’s identification: name, address, KRS, NIP, REGON
• identification of the donor — a natural or legal person
• the amount, currency and date the Foundation’s account was credited
• the code and name of the designated fund, or an indication of the general pool
• the statutory objective to which the funds will be allocated, citing §4 and §5 of the Statute
• a declaration that the funds will be allocated in accordance with §9(1) of the Statute
• the basis for accepting the donation: §8 and §12 of the Statute
• the signature of the President of the Management Board, representing the Foundation single-handedly (§21(1))

How to obtain it

Please write to global@healthcarepoland.pl stating the date and amount of the payment, the fund code, and the details to which the note should be issued. We send the note as a PDF and, on request, also on paper.

The statutory note is not an invoice. A donation is not payment for a service and is not subject to value added tax. Where the cooperation involves a reciprocal service — sponsorship, a commissioned publication, training, an audit — the Foundation issues an invoice under its paid statutory or business activity (§8 and §13).

The tax treatment of the donation on the donor’s side remains the donor’s responsibility. The note documents the fact of payment, its amount, purpose and statutory basis; the amount and manner of any deduction are determined by the donor under the rules applicable to their own form of taxation.

Purpose before amount

Every zloty goes to the statutory objectives and to covering the necessary costs of the Foundation’s activity — and to nothing else.

The donor’s designation binds

A payment whose reference names a fund is an earmarked donation. The Foundation implements donors’ specific decisions provided they do not conflict with its objectives or the Statute.

Cashless settlement only

We accept cashless payments only — bank transfer or payment gateway. The Foundation neither accepts nor makes cash payments equal to or exceeding EUR 10,000.

No transfer to related parties

The Foundation’s assets are not transferred to or used for the benefit of members of its bodies, staff or their close relations on terms other than those applied to third parties. Purchases from related entities — on arm’s-length terms only.

A donation is not a purchase

A donation is not payment for a service. Sponsorship, commissioned publications and other services constitute paid statutory or business activity and are documented by invoice — not by a note.

This is not a public collection

Transfers to the account and electronic payments do not constitute a public collection within the meaning of the Act of 14 March 2014 — no notification on zbiorki.gov.pl is required. Should the Foundation organise a collection of cash or in-kind offerings in a public place, it will notify it there beforehand.

Transparency and accounting

The Management Board prepares the annual financial statement and activity report and makes them public by publishing them on the Foundation’s website.

Substantive independence

A donation confers no influence over positions, opinions, recommendations, or the outcome of any audit, certification or assessment carried out by the Foundation or its units.

Right to refuse

The Foundation may refuse a donation whose source, condition or purpose would conflict with its statutory objectives, with the law, or with anti-money-laundering requirements. Inheritances are accepted only with the benefit of inventory.

Protection of donor data

Donor data is processed solely to settle the payment, issue the statutory note and meet legal obligations. It is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
