Academic Cooperation at Healthcare Poland

We connect universities with healthcare practice. HCPL brings standards, programmes grounded in regulatory practice and access to the hospital environment. The university brings the academic framework: ECTS credits, quality assurance of education and the diploma.

A two-layer cooperation model

Forms of cooperation

• ECTS-bearing courses with micro-credentials: short programmes for hospital staff and medtech suppliers. HCPL Micro-credentials
• Postgraduate studies: including AI governance in healthcare, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, and quality and accreditation.
• In-house training for hospitals: delivered jointly as part of remediation plans following Centre audits.
• Research and implementation projects: living labs, evaluation of technology deployments and joint proposals under European Union programmes.

What the university gains

• ready programmes built on current EU regulation: NIS2, the AI Act, MDR, GDPR and ESG,
• a link to practice through the Polish Federation of Hospitals, of which HCPL is a supporting member,
• practitioner faculty with national and international experience,
• transparent terms: a published price list, and roles and conflict-of-interest rules set out in the agreement.

1. Initial conversation and a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
2. Programme selection matched to the university’s profile and regional needs.
3. Partnership agreement covering roles, financial terms and IP protection.
4. First edition and evaluation after the first cycle.
