1st Youth Health Summit: The Future of Polish Medicine

Sectoral Skills Council – Healthcare invites young people to the 1st Youth Health Summit: The Future of Polish Medicine. The event is aimed at pupils in Years 3 and 4 of secondary school who are planning to pursue a career in the healthcare sector.

Education and careers in healthcare

The summit offers a unique opportunity to explore educational and career opportunities in the healthcare sector. The event will bring together students, representatives of higher education institutions, employers, healthcare organisations, as well as experts and practitioners, all in one place. The intimate format of the event – designed for around 200 participants from Warsaw and the Mazovia region – encourages direct discussions and the exchange of experiences.

Modern healthcare – more than just medical professions

The modern healthcare system needs more than just doctors, nurses and paramedics. It thrives thanks to specialists in the following fields:

  • technology and artificial intelligence in medicine,
  • healthcare management and organisation,
  • health finance and economics,
  • long-term care,
  • mental health,
  • hospital and patient safety.

During the Summit, participants will learn about these areas first-hand from practitioners and find out what work is like in the various parts of the system.
