Healthcare Poland has joined the group of Institutional Partners for the 11th edition of the Healthcare Manager Academy (AMOZ). The conference will take place on 24–25 September 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Warsaw-Wawer hotel.
AMOZ is an event aimed at owners, board members, directors and managers of healthcare facilities, as well as those responsible for technological development, process organisation and the quality of patient care. This year’s edition will bring together representatives from healthcare providers, institutions, the business sector, and the medtech and healthtech sectors.
Digital transformation, AI and branch management
The programme for the 11th edition focuses on the challenges that are having an increasingly significant impact on the way healthcare facilities operate. The main topics include:
- digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence,
- cybersecurity and business continuity in healthcare facilities,
- finance, consolidation and new billing models,
- patient experience and the design of the patient journey,
- prevention and longevity,
- leadership and team management.
Discussions on artificial intelligence will cover, amongst other things, the use of AI assistants in patient care, process automation, and ways of reducing the workload on medical and administrative staff. Issues relating to data protection, mitigating the risk of cyber-attacks, and preparing healthcare facilities for potential operational disruptions will also form an important part of the programme.
Two days of debates and practical presentations
The conference programme will take place across two stages – Horyzont and Orbita. The organisers have planned nearly 18 panel discussions, 12 ‘power speech’ presentations, Oxford-style debates and presentations by medtech and healthtech start-ups.
One of the debates will focus on whether, over the next ten years, artificial intelligence could take over half of the tasks currently performed by doctors. Participants will also discuss the organisation of the full patient journey, building patient loyalty, managing unused appointment slots, and preparing healthcare facilities for changes in ownership and market consolidation.
The event is expected to attract over 600 participants, as well as more than 120 experts and invited guests.
Launch of the AMOZ 2026 Report
One of the highlights of the conference will be the launch of the AMOZ 2026 Report, prepared by the Medidesk team.
This publication will present the results of the annual patient care quality surveys carried out using the ‘mystery patient’ method. The report will highlight the stages of the initial contact at healthcare facilities where the opportunity to book an appointment is most frequently missed, and which aspects of service organisation require improvement.
