Invitation to the Senior Care 2026 conference

The Polish Hospital Federation and the Healthcare Poland Foundation invite you to the Senior Care 2026 conference, organised by KIDO – The Polish Chamber of Long-Term Care Facilities. The event will take place on 5–7 May 2026 at Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn and will focus on equipment, technologies and services for the elderly, care homes and the senior living sector. This is a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, discover the latest solutions and build relationships within the long-term care community.

Healthcare Poland, together with the Polish Hospital Federation, are organising a key supporting event on the third day of the conference:

Implementation Session: Global Healthcare Systems Hub

7 May 2026 | 11.30 am–1.00 pm (90 minutes)

The session programme comprises four thematic blocks:

SESSION I – LTC System Architecture (11:35–12:05)

  • EDM/EHR systems and the management of patient data in long-term care facilities and outpatient clinics (ZOL/ZPO)Piotr Senkus
  • GHSH – Medical Tourism for Older AdultsMichał Dybowski, Agata Sawicka, Jarosław Fedorowski
    Poland as a destination for older adult patients (DACH, GCC, IL, UK). The TQAMS model adapted for long-term care; patient pathways, quality standards, international governance.
  • ZOL/ZPO Coalition Barbara Misiecka, Andrzej Lejczak, Michał Dybowski, Jarosław Fedorowski
    Status of coalition formation; regulatory agenda (NFZ tariffs, care standards, staffing); positioning vis-à-vis the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, and the Monetary Policy Council.

SESSION II – Institutional funding (12:05–12:15)

  • PARP Sector CouncilMichał Dybowski, Jarosław Fedorowski
    Sectoral remit for long-term care and elderly care; the Council’s recommendations; integration with the BUR; agenda for the next meeting.

SESSION III – Resilience and security (12:15–12:25)

  • Cyber Security, Resilience and Civil Defence in Healthcare and Long-Term Care OrganisationsPiotr Welenc
    NIS2 for the LTC sector; extension of CyberC4HE to residential care homes, nursing homes and care homes; regional SOC; Continuity of Care in crisis situations; integration with the Civil Protection Centre and the National Crisis Management Centre.

SESSION IV – The international and competence-based dimension (12:25–12:55)

  • PTLMMarcin Karolewski
    Operational cooperation; division of roles between HCPL and PTLM; joint pilot projects; positioning vis-à-vis GHSH.
  • GLFA – Global Life Frontier AcademyMichał Dybowski, Marcin Karolewski, Jarosław Fedorowski, Tomasz Majszyk
    The concept of the academy as a global educational and certification platform for the senior care and longevity sector. Programme architecture, certification pathways for staff, an international recognition model, and links with Living Lab Healthcare, MedTechID, TQAMS and Startup Innovation Day.
