Pharmdiver is a technology company that builds advanced databases and designs solutions based on graph databases and artificial intelligence (AI). Our central aim is to analyse the complex dependencies in polypharmacotherapy, which are multidimensional in nature — going well beyond the simplified, pairwise treatment of drug interactions used to date.
Our solutions: Smart Pharma Optimizer
The flagship product in the Pharmdiver portfolio is Smart Pharma Optimizer — a continuously developed tool addressed to hospitals, primary care units, physicians, pharmacists and nurses. The system supports the implementation of the new accreditation standards and improves medication safety, offering functionality unique on this market within a single end-to-end process.
Safe medication administration: the solid oral dosage form decomposition module analyses the available options for crushing tablets and for administering medicines through artificial access routes. Results are returned as a readable system of flags. The system additionally supports the search for alternative therapeutic options. The database will shortly be extended with off-label information and data from the literature, giving pharmacy and nursing staff the highest available information standard — and supporting delivery of the FA5 standard.
Cumulative adverse drug reactions (ADR) — from signal to audit: the solution covers every stage, from identifying potential ADRs through to audit. Summing adverse reactions across multiple medicines allows a physician or pharmacist to assess the cumulative effect of several drugs on a patient receiving polypharmacy.
Alerting: we go beyond the standard SmPC data, integrating safety communications, availability alerts (the register of medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses and medical devices at risk of unavailability in the territory of the Republic of Poland) and decisions of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate (GIF).
Every element of the system is mapped to the MedDRA and ICD-10 dictionaries, which ensures conformity with international standards, eases integration with medical records and supports delivery of the required FA7 standard.
The interdisciplinary team at
Pharmdiver’s strength lies in combining medical knowledge with advanced mathematics. Our team brings together pharmacists — including a pharmacologist — pharmacy technicians and public health specialists, working alongside mathematicians (three of them holding doctorates). Together we develop proprietary AI/ML models for the analysis of clinical data. We hold that interdisciplinary teams are central to modern healthcare, and that the pharmacist is an indispensable part of them.

The quality of our innovations is confirmed by a series of awards and by the confidence of public institutions:
- Ministry of Health Innovation Register: since 2 April 2025, Pharmdiver solutions have been listed on the Map of Innovation in Healthcare.
- Winner of the Polish Innovation Award 2025 (Polish Entrepreneurship Agency).
- Top-10 finalist in: MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation (Warsaw 2025) and Medtech Innovation Day (Economic Forum, Karpacz 2025).
- Nominated for the title of Innovation Ambassador 2026 (European Centre for Economic Development).
The development of our tools is supported substantively by leading medical centres, among them the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk, the Dr Jan Biziel University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz and the Warmia and Mazury Centre for Pulmonary Diseases in Olsztyn.
The road ahead (2026 roadmap)
We keep raising the bar. Our plans for 2026 include the deployment of further breakthrough modules:
- Drug–diet and drug–disease interactions: extending the analysis to many-to-many relationships, drawing on current literature and SmPCs.
- Pharmacokinetic interactions: proprietary work on the dependencies that affect drug metabolism.
- Solvents and diluents: building on the flag system already developed, a review of data on preparing medicines for parenteral administration (based on SmPCs).
- Cumulative adverse reactions of medicines and dietary supplements — assessing how concurrent supplementation affects the risk and profile of adverse drug reactions, based on our own research.
Our mission is to secure the highest quality of data and complementarity of solutions, so that pharmacotherapy is not only effective but, above all, safe.
